Chukar Hunting | Rainy Day Chukar

Published 2023-11-10
After trying some of my favorite spots, I head over to a new mountain to try and locate a new batch of birds. Rainy days like this forced the birds into the overhang of the large rocky bluffs. Once I figured that out, I was able to find a couple birds.

Nice work without a dog. I will say you show why I enjoy hunting with a dog. But, great work by you.

I hunted chukar and huns without a dog once. Chasing a bird on the run and they can run. The dog breed I picked was the Gordon Setter. This is her second year and she points out bird. No matter what breed you get. Get a GPS collar makes it more fun.

How come you are dog-less? I had no idea you could hunt Huns and Chucker without a good bird dog. But you really did great! Nice hunt. 👍 I'm looking for a german shorthair pointer now.

Good video and good effort. You do quite well for not having a dog. What gopro do you have and what settings are you using

Good stuff! Noticed you have a lot of cripples and a few lost last video and this. #6 will solve that problem, those 7.5s are just too small for chukar, I learned the hard way
