We made it to York ๐ฐ๐ We've started off with waking up to the most beautiful yorkshire countryside since we sad overnight in a real Shepard's Hut! Then we drove our way to the city and strolled through The Shambles, grabbed a delicious bite of a delicious Pork Pie before we had a proper cream tea experience at the best Scone house ๐ง โ you have to try it! We loved strolling through the cobblestone pavements, admiring the breathtaking York Minster and walking along the historic York City Walls โ such a cool way to see the city! York is such a gem โ can't wait for you all to experience it โค๏ธ

I love the city of York. It's one of my favourite cities to visit as I always enjoy seeing all the historical buildings there. My most favourite time to visit York is at Christmas. If you ever get the chance to visit York again, definitely go again at Christmas time as it has such a beautiful atmosphere with lights and decorations all over the city plus the Christmas Market there is always worth checking out.

The blue LNER locomotive you saw is Mallard which still holds the world speed record for steam locomotives at 126 mph. The Shinkansen is a 0 Series, the very first type to run on the high speed network in Japan (which Shinkansen means "New Main Line" and they were in operation until the 2000s. Interestingly the half in the National Railway Museum is one of only 2 that are on display outside of Japan so its a rare thing to see. And if you were impressed by the inside of that, just wait until you ride a more modern N7000 when you visit Japan. They make even the LNER "Azuma" trains seem outdated. Shame you missed Clifford's Tower. York is a lovely place to visit.

I was in York in February absolutely fantastic. The history the shops ,Busking saw some great bands .the Railway Museum. Or just sitting by the River with a Coffee.

Love York, not been for a few years. You missed Guy Fawkes house just by the Minster! Really love it before Christmas, dark nights the Shambles is just magical. I think you can park south of the city and get a boat taxi into the centre. Great vid guys. Cheers.
