  • Oh wow! What a huge transition! Great work everyone and so glad it was possible to re float and transition to a place of intense examination and possible repair to the Dali.
  • Good to see. A step in the process. There is a way to go but things are getting better.
  • The ship DALI is back in port and can be unloaded. Meanwhile, the cranes continue to clear up.

This was amazing. The power the tugs have to be able to move this ship

The story of Dali is pure surrealism.

There's probably containers on there with people's entire possessions, because they were moving overseas. That would be fun.
  • Love the idea that the governer was there "overseeing the work". As a politician he would be there for the PR reasons, wishing to be seen to be involved. And as a politician only, he would be well advised to leave things to experts, rather than interfering.

I saw the front end damage. It is not safe to travel in the ocean. It will be some time before it's safe to travel.
  • ....and it takes three people to report this plus the lady on site. Crazy.

What is being done with Dali? Are all the containers being removed and transferred to another ship before MV Dali heads to repairs. Can the containers be transported by rail to other ports for transportation? The supply chain has got to be reeling from delays. Thanks for your continued coverage of this event.

I seriously doubt that the governor "overseeing" this! Watching, yes, "overseeing," no.

I can't believe no one saw to it that the poor seamen's visas were extended due to the accident. Stuck on the ship for 2 months already and now how long will they be stuck on the ship at port, not allowed off ship before they can go home to their families?

All that cargo sitting on the ship for 2 months! Imagine all the people waiting for their stolen cars and drugs to arrive and having this happen.
