✩ WHERE TO BUY PARTS: ✩
If you're in the UK, I'd highly recommend getting parts from Scan Computers as that's where I bought the majority of my parts! They don't stock some components such as the Pinkflow parts, so you can find those on my Amazon storefront.

this PC build is suitable for gaming and streaming, as well as for artists and video editors (though you might wanna use 32GB RAM for editing 4k footage)!! i built it as i'm an animator myself and i do a lot of heavy-duty work, so my PC needs to be able to handle lots of multi-tasking between software!

i really wanted to make pc building feel more accessible since a lot of gaming/tech can be intimidating when you’re starting out (and i definitely had a lot of trouble finding media that i could engage with that felt beginner friendly without throwing out lots of different terms!)
i’ve tried to include most of the important tips, though i am thinking about making a dedicated video for AIO cooler connections since it took me quite a while to figure it out myself! feel free to leave suggestions or requests down in the comments, or any questions and i’ll try my best to answer them if i can ♡

[disclaimer: i’m not a professional, this video is intended for guidance only —something that works for my specific build may not work in the same way for yours, and as a first-time builder i do make mistakes so please do your own research in addition to this!]

Honestly, this brings me so much joy! I remember almost 10 years ago when I posted my first build on pcpartpicker list I got so much hate just mentioning I was a girl building a computer. I see a lot more women and girls visible in the space now and I'm so happy a new generation will see women building PCs unapologetically and in our "girly" aesthetic. Wonderful job with the build and video! -xo
  • @rredcloudss
this is easily the cutest, friendliest & most accessible pc guide i've ever seen... Linus is quaking
  • This is coming from a person who has never built a PC themselves, but who has a boyfriend who tried to explain it to me and always fails. This is the most comprehensive and entertaining breakdown I have ever seen for my ADHD mind to absorb. The art is amazing, your visuals made it easy to follow along, your voice is smoothing, the background music was impeccably chosen, and the build wound up beautify. Great job overall, bravo.
  • @OzTalksHW
Epic, great computer, great tutorial, great aesthetic, great editing. good job!!
  • @Shorty281989
The editing in this is so whimsical. I feel like I'm a kid watching educational Sunday morning shows. Greetings from Germany!
  • @RogelioCotaMtz
Very well explained, with that cute and friendly touch. Hope this encourages more girls to build their setups instead of buying expensive prebuilts. This deserves to be on the recommendation panel on YouTube's front page :) !
  • @YOIMMIKE
as a "gamer boy" i can confirm i am not salty and i think your pc looks nice.
  • @MrTomo89
i have watched hours and hours of these builds but to be fair this is one of the best edited ones I have seen especially for a first attempt, only mistake was the psu upside down the fan goes at the bottom . That said I love the animal crossing vibe and text and the highlighted ports when plugging things in great job and thumbs up, nice wacom

EDIT: I MADE A LIST OF ALL THE PARTS USED ON MY WEBSITE ON MY PINK PC PAGE, i'm part of a few affiliate programs now so it really helps me out if you guys use my links when buying your parts!! it helps to tell the companies that people are coming from my pink build and supports me keeping a roof over my head so i can make more helpful guides like this!! ^-^

if you use my tutorial for making your own pc, please send me pics of it too because i love seeing the results!!! i have a little instagram highlight where i like featuring the pcs people have made from my guide, and my DMs are always open for y'all to send any snaps! :D

also, please credit me if you make a video and take inspiration from my walkthrough!! ♡ it's always really nice seeing where i've inspired people too, so i appreciate it sm! ; v ; /

btw when i’m introducing my CPU, i made a silly mistake on the voiceover and said ‘5700X’ instead of ‘ 3700X ’ which is what the text says!!! it’s too late to fix it now but just so that you know that i meant to say that my CPU is definitely the Ryzen 7 3700X!

also a quick breakdown of the different FPS i get in various games, since i get asked this a lot:
World of Warcraft (raytracing, max settings) - 100-120fps
Genshin Impact (max, game is capped at 60) - 60fps
    GTA V (ultra) - 118fps
    Apex (ultra) - 142fps
Valorant - (ultra) - the estimate is 261fps, but my monitor is capped at 144hz!

…………….and apparently i could technically play minecraft at 1000fps LMAO

Thank goodness! I've been trying to find a yassified pc tutorial to suit the aesthetic I am going for. I want to do mostly pink with dashes of soft yellow! This has me pumped up to build a pc in the future!
  • @user-dt4sr8yl2r
the production quality is insane! all the little guide posters and animations, the subtitling, this must've taken hours to edit :O
  • @gwenleanne
this was so friendly, and SO accessible!! i'm looking at building my first pc (as an english major with a passion for video games and streaming) and this is by far the easiest tutorial i've ever watched, even two years later <3 thank you so so much!! i love love love the pink!
  • @Foldeddreams
My half black half white PC about to look bomb after learning from this guide 🥰
I love how nice and high production value this video is too! Makes everything to easy to follow! 😇🌻
  • I like how detailed this is with instructions makes me feel a bit more confident to try it I have seen a lot of other builds but its just not the same. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!
  • @demontitania
im really scared to build my own PC and have been for a long time because of how stressful and complicated men make it seem. Seeing supportive content like this made by women is so nice and encouraging, it really helps me feel at ease with wanting to build my own. Can't wait to save up enough and start collecting for my own PC. Thank you <3
  • @chlorox01
I have watched many pc building videos, but this one is probably the most easily digestible and encouraging? pc build vids I've ever seen. SO many videos overcomplicate themselves and give unnecessary info that can easily overwhelm and discourage newbies. But I love how easy to follow along this is and how, honestly, really simple it is putting together a pc!
  • @iriliean
i cannot thank you enough for this! this was exactly what i was looking for so i ended up using almost all the same parts, and i used this guide (paint and all) to get through it all!! i don't have experience with building pcs and wouldn't have even known where to begin without this. it worked so well and i'm so happy with the result, and all of your advice and visual aids were amazing :D
  • I'm not very confident in myself usually when it comes to tasks like this, but this walkthrough honestly makes me a lot more comfortable to try and build my own PC for the first time ever. I've really been wanting one for the past 4 years and soon my dreams of having a cute pink PC will come true 💕🙏
  • @r.j4925
Absolutely love the editing in this! Really enjoy the teaching nature of the video as well with the blurbs beside it to kind of give a bit of an explanation of why it's important to what you're speaking about! Amazing video!
  • @emeraldgaze
this was really helpful, especially for a first time builder. you took your time and explained all the parts & process in a way that was easy to follow too
