  • Haley, what a journey! You are truly a warrior! I wanted to share a couple of my experiences which I hope will give you some piece of mind. First, I am in my late 50’s. I was diagnosed with Addison’s 21 years ago when my youngest child was a year old. Looking back, I had several years of symptoms & deterioration prior to diagnosis. However, I was able to get through 2 pregnancies and was blessed with 2 beautiful healthy children. They r both in their early 20’s now & thriving. Second, my mom had Type 1 diabetes & as a result went blind in her early 20’s. Back then they did not want her to have children because of her diabetes. When she became pregnant with me they wanted her to have an abortion. She refused & here I am! She was also an amazing warrior! I hope that your journey through pregnancy & parenthood brings you much joy.
