I miss the old food network like this i hope they change it up in 2024.
  • @theupliftchannel
Old Food Network was the best. I wish they’d do a retro FN channel.
  • @ChildishDanbino
I never realized how much stability Marc Summers was bringing to my life during this era

I am impressed that someone has attained the rank of Microwave Historian
  • @SK-hn1ec
This used to be my comfort show. I miss the old Food Network.
  • @ReapTheWhirlwind
Marc Summers's voice has the same comforting quality as the Weird History Food guy.
  • @iamme50
I used to watch this show all the time. I miss it so much.

Seeing those ladies standing while wrapping the burritos is such a classic factory move…a job that can be done sitting down but they need to stand
  • @MegaSwiming
Unwrapped was a reason to look forward to Monday evening

Hungrymans old recipe was just perfect. Nowadays their salsbury steak always got a piece of bone in it halfway soggy with dishwasher gravy water. Beans taste frozen even after theyre cooked. I wont even comment on the rest. Everything was done better back then.

Crazy this episode was 20 years ago when microwaves still looked like actual ovens
  • Marc Summers really scored a winner with this show on The Food Network.

Old Food Network reminds me of my childhood being spent at my grandparents. Oh the nostalgia. :)
  • The Food Network will never change back! People would rather see fighting and arguing with each other in competition shows then actually learning something interesting like a show like this!
  • @jeanaquin
So interesting to see how things have changed since this aired. I’d say burritos are now as American as apple pie thanks to chains like chipotle

I will never forget our first microwave in the 80's. We couldn't use it if my aunt was around because she had a pacemaker.
