It has a "everything to gain" vibe, unlike the "nothing to lose" of the original tuning. kudos on the quality!

Ironically it sounds happier in c sharp minor it sounds triumphant and victorious, versus the original song which is in e minor which sounds sorrowful and full of grief.

got me shedding tears, it almost sounds like instead of being hopeless, its more in the hopeful light like they know they can heal from the damage theyve gone through

One of my favorite things to do is play Metallica riffs in C#. The creeping death DIE bridge is just so damn amazing. This sounds beautiful.

If heard on multiple occasions, James Hetfield say he hated his high pitch voice in Metallica's early albums. Hearing this track in C#, I now wonder if this is how he actually wanted to sound back in the day

The cover art is out of this world. I wish the tentacles were animated too!

I actually shed a tear, this is the best one you've done so far

You HAVE to do the thing that should not be. You have to. It's the heaviest metallica song. It deserves it. BTW subbed, amazing work my guy!

If they don't play this at my funeral, I'm not dying
  • @jordan9105
This sounds more like it came off Load. James Sounds older, and as if he's more remember his deepest depression rather than wallowing in it

This is incredible. But can we talk about that cover art tho! Absolutely gorgeous
  • @Punkashien
It sounds like being doomed, nostalgic and being conscious of our endless fall... That's what I needed. Perfect
  • @undead._
my baritone finally can sing this shit

All these vidoes with altered tuning make me believe I should get out of my comfort zone and start playing the guitar in other tunings besides E standard. Just beautiful... very beautiful
