  • My best American friend, Chris. He told me he was shy. But to me, he's really expressive. America has a culture of being vocal expressive.

Being an introvert doesn't necessarily mean "shy and prefer to be alone". Yes we tend to be more quiet. It's to do with being overstimulate by big groups, lots of noise, etc. Not all introverts are shy, and it doesn't mean we all prefer to be alone, we just need to recharge after being in simulating social environments.

You are a great teacher. Modest, decent, calm and intelligent. We appreciate what you are doing for us.
  • English has very different energy from many languages not only because it has a precise vocabulary for the slightest matters but has its own pitch and rhythm and I have learned the slightest details here.

Having accent is not per se embarrassing, as it indicates that the person knows at least one more language (which is a good thing), but we should make our accents less strong in order to make them more understandable for others specially for the natives.

The tip with moving your body more and singers standing up during song recording is a great idea. I will try to apply this in my upcoming web interviews.
