Wait, THIS IS MADE IN FLIPACLIP?? This has to be by far the smoothest and most professional-looking animation I've ever seen done in Flipaclip. This is damn impressive!

This is wonderful! I have found close to no ballet critiques! Since you can tell that they are dancing fluidly & loosely the flaws can be ignored completely! I see it as them dancing together for enjoyment rather than actual performance. This is such a stunning animation! I love it! ^^

Do you know what this immediately reminded me of, and I haven't seen anyone mention? The tin soldier and the ballerina. Definitely one of the stories of my childhood, so to see it compiled here in such a gorgeous animation felt warm to me. Really good job.

Seeing Lain and Magenta just brighten my day :DD But I think lore wise, Lain may have a crush on Magenta. The characters they dressed up as are from the ‘The Steadfast Tin Soldier’ by Hans Christian Andersen (I think). The tin soldier falls in love with the ballerina in the story which may indicate that Lain may have fallen for Magenta. Also the theme of this particular story is ‘unwavering love and devotion’. As Lain wakes up, you can see his ribbons drop in disappointment. His ribbons only perk up when he is triggered by a strong emotion (eg. in the Not Reality video where Lain gets shocked by Donut’s angry reaction) or when Kitty wants him to do so :) Also the song that is played in the background, while a Christmas song, it can also double as a love song. ‘I want you to know that I’m never leaving’ ‘Til death we’ll be freezing’ A pledge of undying loyalty to Magenta from Lain. Or a double meaning that he wants to be beside her all the way on her revenge against the Heroes? Or maybe Kitty thought ‘nice song!’ And animated them. Who knows? Lain was definitely having a nice dream Also you can see Donut sniggering when she sees Mai staring at her, as if they both know what Lain was dreaming about. Donut finds it hilarious while Mai finds it saddening. Well at least Mai cares about Lain’s (alleged) crush so much that she wrote on his present that ‘Magenta was away’. This was probably added on just right before they gave him the present as her name was further away from the other names (i.e Donut, Mai, Halo and Nova) Donut’s handwriting is more messy that Mai’s, whose handwriting is more cursive. (As seen by how they wrote their names) It’s also kinda sweet how they gave Lain a present for Christmas. Especially when you see the lengths they took to get him one (i.e the ribbon was burnt by a hero as stated by Donut, indicating that there was a fight which occurred while obtaining the ribbon for his present) Anyways, Happy Birthday to you as well Kitty!!!
