Very nice workflow. The traditional way to animate is the best. Almost all studios use vector graphic programs like ToonBoom, Adobe Animate and Flash. I will stick with TVPaint. It just feels so nice and natural to work with. ♥️ I also have it on my android phone.

most artist let alone people dont know just how long TVpaint has been around. I began using it on the Amiga back in the early 90's although most application debut'ed ont he amiga as early as the 80's Im talking about the age of Deluxe Paint III akaDpaint (which btw precedes Photoshop and all of adobe applications). The Commodore Amiga was a powerhouse for animation programs both 2d and 3d as it was one of the few home computers tailor made for animation graphics and music. yup even preceding the Mac. You guys think Apple started it all... well they lied about everything. The Amiga was king due to its custom graphic chipset, unlike the pc which used the cpu for just about everything, eventually company's began creating graphic cards for the PC that enabled it to gain equal if not better graphic capabilities, but it all happened some time afterwards. As mentioned many startup artistic tool developers got their start on the amiga. Much later the PC due to the rise of the intel chipset began getting ports of amiga applications ported over to it. But in the age of Commodore, their C64 and the Amiga, all that we've come to love about our computers today, didn't start with apple, heck no, not at all, it started with commodore. The amiga had a host of 2d applications. Deluxe paint, aegis Animator, Zoetrope,Tvpaint, PPaint,Brilliance, Fantavision (first vector based animation package long before flash), digi paint, photon paint, the Disney Animation studio. the list goes on and on. TVpaint itself had several iterations of iself, sold as Tvpaint, Aura, and Mirage. As it was once bundled with several 3d applications. I've used tvpaint non stop as many used other well known applications that were never designed ground up for animation. photoshop, after effects. even applications that were developed for 2d and used industry wide were for years horrible and paled in comparison to TVP. and though in time even TVPaint began to lag behind in features, some of which still exist today, its only been in the past 10 years that ive really seen not only TVP expand in features and overall revisions but mirrored with its growing acceptance in animation studios around the world. Its always been here but for some reason everyone was blind to its existence, that was until Goeblins began showcasing their work. and notable french artists began to shock the 2d world. so im very happy to see TVPaint coming of age after all this time. but funny enough, there were other applications on the amiga that also sat under the radar for 3 quarters of their existence before going mainstream.. maybe you know a few... C4d , blender, lightwave3d yup they also got their start on the amiga long ago.

Where does one get the experience to use tv paint like this? This looks very complex to even take on!

Bonjour, j'aurai une question s'il vous plait: est-ce que l'option "convertir en symbole" qu'on retrouve sur adobe animate existe-t-elle sur TVPAINT?
