DJ DAH-ISHI本人も当時のHIPHOPの快進撃を体感していない世代である。

当時主流になりつつあったSAMPLINGという手法に誰もが夢中に元ネタを探し出し、深みのあるサウンドを求めていた90年代。

    You know what? (I say this with NO sarcasm) It's VERY nice to see, for a change, a REAL disc jockey. Honestly, I'm so tired of seeing other "djs" who play MAYBE 30-second clips of songs with way too many 'drops', intros, etc. Music is meant to ENJOY, and this DJ makes listening ENJOYABLE. I'm old enough to have listened to true dj's ply their craft (dj'ing IS a craft, or art form even). You can NOT make transitions like this DJ unless you TRULY know the music you're spinning. The world needs more real dj's like Dah-ishi. :>
