Tales of the Unknown

I Went to the Mothman Festival to find out if this mysterious creature caught on camera could be real? This cryptid like bigfoot has been seen for many years around point pleasant West Virginia. This Monster haunts the forest and area.

I have a story about it that happened to my grandpa. My grandpa was at vacation when he was a child. He was walking with his parents near the silver bridge he and his parents saw the exact creature on top of the silver bridge. They took a photo of the mothman and i saw the picture under my grandpa’s bed.

Im always a bit intrigued of these so called cryptids.. i grew in Wisconsin and heard the tales of the beast of bray road or the rhinelander hodag.. and i explored these woods as a kid for miles around my parents property.. and our barn was very old you could see through it. I do remember one night as we were having a campfire late at night and half way through we all heard rustling behind the barn and look toward that direction and we all saw glowing eyes through the barn thinking it was a deer we didnt pay much attention and as it was a common thing to see these animals, about a hour later we just heard a noise that freaked us out it sounded like a animal was in distress and you could hear multiple noises coming from behind the barn and we all ran inside for the night. The next day i went out there with a 12 gauge and i saw multiple prints and blood leading off into the woods and i followed the trail of blood and about 100feet away i saw a deer carcass but its head was gone all the insides were taking out i quickly check my surroundings and quickly went home and told my aunt and uncle and they went out there and they couldnt explain it and they have been living hear since them 1960s. I dont know how to explain what i saw. Maybe it was a just a animal that gutted its prey and was a normal occurrence up here but either way man mother nature can be scary at points

I believe that Mothman is a real creature. One of the witnesses who had an encounter with the creature was severely traumatized by it and he lived for the rest of his life being deathly afraid of encountering it again whenever he turned a corner in his own house and he had to take psychiatric medication to keep his PTSD in check. That speaks volumes about his authenticity. He evidently saw something that did more than just scare him: it offended him. It offended his sense of what was sane and orderly in the world.

I think this is the story of how he was created: A man was working at a power plant until he saw a moth and tried to kill it. The moth got into a high radiated area. The man went after the moth and got fused with the moth.
