The Park Fire, California’s largest wildfire of the year, has ravaged over 125,000 acres and destroyed numerous structures by Thursday (July 25). The fire ignited around 3 p.m. on Wednesday (July 24), in Bidwell Park, northeast of Chico. The Butte County Sheriff's Department ordered evacuations for rural foothill communities, including nearly the entire town of Cohasset, home to about 400 residents.
