I eat gluten - free 24/7 , 7 days a week , 365 days a yr cos I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease when I turned 52 and found out 4 days before my bday . And for over 20 yrs of eating and getting sick and all that time it was Celiac Disease that was misdiagnosed , the entire time . I converted my granny's 200 yr old banana bread that was made on a wood cookstove to gluten free and nope U cant tell its gluten free .

I can’t wait to try the baked pumpkin oatmeal! We are a partially gluten free household and I’m always looking for ways to make one meal instead of two!

  • I'm one of those people who always stayed away from gluten free because it seemed kind of boring and excluded tasty dishes. Thank you for dispelling that myth. What wonderful ideas you've given us! I'm definitely going to try these recipes. 😁 Never did I think I would ever try something like you just gave us. But starting with the pumpkin oatmeal bake is a wonderful way to go! And I even bought a new canister of oatmeal so I'm half way there! ❣️ And I have dried beans and sweet potatoes so that takes me further into the plan. 💕 Now for something using quinoa. I picked up some last week when I visited the DT Plus. That day I couldn't see. 😑 My eating has been poor to none the past couple of weeks. I won't eat for a whole day and then I'll try to eat something the next day and it's not much better. I had a coupon for a free hamburger so I stopped on my way home from pool therapy yesterday. I got my free hamburger, ordered a small fry and received my free senior drink. I always cut my hamburger in half so I'm not holding a soggy bun. I ate half of the burger, a few fries and drank some of my drink. I was stuffed after less than half of my lunch. I packed it up and took it home for dinner. So I ate for the whole day for around $2.00. It wasn't the best choice but most of it was free. I'm usually hungry when I get out of the pool but I don't always feel like going home and cooking. I guess you could say it's a good pain I feel after therapy but I still have trouble standing to cook when I get home. But this is what I need to work on. I'm going to try some of these recipes and even make them ahead and have them ready for when I get home from therapy.🤗 You've definitely inspired me! Thank you for sharing these recipes and giving us some good food for thought! 🥰

Thanks for making the gluten free recipes. I’m looking to use common food items that are naturally gluten free like these.

An idea instead of using gluten free tortillas is thick sliced turkey lunch meat slices.
  • @rameetahuja
Where to get pumpkin like you used in your 1st recipe
  • @dazywings
I've never had chili that didn't have elbow noodles or ready-cut noodles in it.
  • Please be aware that gluten is not just in wheat products, but also barley, rye, and sometimes mixed in with many oat products because they share a facility with other gluten products.
