Thanks for the winter interlude. We spent Eight years off grid in Alaska in the 1970s and Solstice was always celebrated. Back then we had a dog team rather than a snow machine but I will admit they sure are handy. My wife and I are enjoying your videos.

Great vid! Right now I'm waiting for the rest of my family to wake up for Christmas, I'm a morning person so I usually wake up at 5am, so during any holiday family gathering I always have a couple hours in the morning alone and waiting, and this was a great video to watch for Christmas! Those drone shots was like a Christmas card in it selfe. Beautiful. The darkest day of the year means 3 hours of daylight where i am and i cant wait for the return of longer days, day by day. Love winter, especially late winter, near spring when the sun is beating down on us but the snow is still deep. Merry Christmas, and thank you for sharing yours and Normans life in that magical place on earth.

Really love your cabin and all the surroundings. Beautiful!! Always loved the cold, the outdoors and the snow in winter. However, at 77yrs old, I can’t imagine that morning outhouse trip. Lol
