What if Yoriichi Was Born in The Current Era Along With Tanjiro

Do you prefer this version of the story or the original? Muzan & Kokushibo vs Tanjiro & Yoriichi would be EPIC!

One big caveat. If Yoriichi is born in the current era, Tanjiro's family doesn't die as Muzan won't seek them out as they wouldn't be custodians of sun breathing through the dance.

I really hope they do a spin-off on yoriichi’s era (during the sengoku period.) it would be an instant hit.

no man you miss something that important that is if yyoriichi comes to tanjiro's era there is no hinukami kagura that tanjiro knows from his father

I think Akaza and Douma would beat kokushibo fairly easily as the only reason kokushibo appears insanely overpowered in the Anime is because he had centuries of practice refining his breathing technique but in this alternative timeline Akaza and Douma are much older and have tons of more experience of being a demon and are probably lots stronger than newly demonized kokushibo.

The only fight we would see is Yoriichi decimating Muzan and the Uppermoons alone.

you forgot to mention the final selection because Urokodaki helped Tanjiro get better at water breathing but urokodaki woudnt know about breathing styles in this version

Its a cool concept, but it has so many plot holes; for example, if yorichi was born in current era, there will be no breathing styles exept the one that inosuke has. He learned it himself without knowing about breathing styles. If someone from the corps saw inosuke using a breathing style, he will probably want to use this too, so inosuke will tell abt it other slayer and they will prob develop their own breathings

Kokushibo was honestly so dope how he was a marked+see through world+beyond hashira demon slayer+mega knowledgable demon with a 1 of 1 breathing style. I Always say this but it Wouldve been so dope to see him meet tanjiro & just see what they talk about & the facts kokushibo would drop while just looking at tanjiro

Tanjiro's family would not die, as the only reason Muzan attacked his family was because of their heritage of the earings, and sun breathing.

A potential oversight: How does Tanjiro's father show Tanjiro the basics of the Hinokami Kagura, if set dance has not been passed down? Why and how would Tanjiro's dad know anything about it?

- Tanjiro would not be in this timeline, as Yoriichi saved Tanjiro's ancestor, so without Yoriichi, the Kamado family would be wiped out - [Subjective] Akaza would've respected Kokushibo for his strength, and Douma is emotionless so he wouldn't feel jealousy - Akaza & Kokushibo probably wouldn't fight, because for Kokushibo to be promoted to Upper Moon 1, he would've had to fight Douma & Akaza already. The 2v1 might happen tho - Akaza hates Douma, the hate isn't mutual - Because Tanjiro doesn't exist, it would probably just be Zenitsu and Inosuke - With Rengoku, they'll probably be able to defeat enmu without Tanjiro - Muzan sent Akaza to get the blue spider lily, not defeat Tanjiro, so Rengoku stll a donut - Tanjiro does not go to Yoriichi to learn about Hinokami Kagura as he doesn't exist - With Yoriichi teaching breathing styles properly, Tengen, Zenitsu and Inosuke probably defeat Gyutaro and Tengen (Mid-High diff) - (Muichiro wouldn't exist because he is a descendent of Kokushibo, who was born in this era, but let's assume he just is for fun) - Muichiro would probably either pick up sun breathing, but if not, he would become much stronger thanks to Yoriichi's help & presence - Mitsuri probably gets killed by Hantengu - Final battle probably doesn't happen because Muzan is now scared shitless, but lets assume it does - Tanjiro is not needed for the final battle (doesn't matter as he doesn't exist), Kokushibo and Muzan scared shitless when Yoriichi appears and probably puts Kokushibo out of his misery, and either killing Muzan or Muzan escaping - If the final battle did happen Yoriichi would def use talk no jutsu to get Tanjiro out

A little change. Tanjiro's father does not know about the dance because Yoriichi showed Sumiyoshi the dance. It was passed down by the family but now its not because the chain never started. Its not 100% sure that Tanjuro and Yoriichi would even make friends nor he would see his dance, so tanjiro wouldnt have any opportunity to learn sun because he doesnt even know about it.

yoriichi in the current era would be like Yujiro on baki vs 12 civillians
