    Pronounced as Woodberry not Bury. That is a common thing that happens when someone isn't from here. We love our little piece of paradise.

    I ain't going to lie to you. I like how Woodbury is growing, but I really want my town to stay like it is... I know it sounds selfish. Lol But I feel like ever since other people have come to this town. Prices of everything just skyrocketed. Woodbury used to be great. Small town. Everybody's knows one another... You never had to worry about getting snatched up. You don't have to worry about kids running around with guns... And now I can't even walk with my son & my dog without a gun... 😞 It sucks in a way but it's also good because now we have more places and a few more things to do... But still I miss my little town... The way it was. .. 😢 It's still a good town at the end of the day though! Lol.

    It's fun to compare houseprices and taxes with the suburbs of Stockholm were I live with tn. My house is 1200 sq ft, 3 bed, 2 bath, with just a teeny tiny plot of land. It's valued at somewhere between 600-650k... Income taxes are the lowest in the country, but still as high as 29 percent. Would LOVE to move to Tennessee!
