I read and pray continually, I hear myself thinking I dont want to go to Heaven I have called this thought captive so so many times, it is a stronghold and I am weary of this happening to me please pray that I can be the overcomer I need to be. Thank you

Perhaps a modified prayer of King David from Psalm 51 would help: "Create in me Your clean heart, O God, and establish a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from Your presence; please don't take your Holy Spirit from me. Impart in me the joy of all salvation, and uphold me with Your free Spirit. Let me show transgressors Your ways, let sinners be convert to You!"

I'm grateful for your testimony! My husband sees Christianity very similar to how you used to. He says a lot of the same things you gave examples of. I know one day my husband will encounter Jesus. Your testimony is just another encouragement!
