  • “I didn’t know Keith David could sing” …. You don’t know he got friends on the other side huh

What I love bout Loser Baby is that it was exactly what Angel needed to hear. He was totally ready to resist the "Ooooh, you're not so bad!" type toxic positivity that Charlie would've given him. Husk coming in with "Yup, you're a loser. You're right!" just completely threw him off his defense and made him more receptive to the "But you're not in this alone" messaging

The thing with Stayed Gone switching gears at the start, is that it's meant to show that although Vox wants to keep up the facade of being in control, setting new status quo, being calm and collected, actually he's totally insecure and actually terrified of Alastor coming back. He's probably the only Overlord who actually gives a shit about Alastor coming back, if you ask me.

“I love Alex Brightman. I wish he had more songs” -Fizzarolli has entered the chat
  • 47:37 you broke your oath “I kind of like listening to Jeremy Jordan’s bit though honestly, —he’s so good”

So the actress who voices Lute (the character singing the banger section in You Don’t Know) is Jessica Vosk, who is known as one of the best Elphaba’s on Broadway. Like, she’s considered just as good if not better than Idina Menzel, so she was going to blow away the part for Lute no matter what. Honestly, I’m shocked at how stacked the cast for Hazbin Hotel is, because it’s full of extremely talented and well respected Broadway actors, Internet personalities, and well known screen actors. It’s an insane cast list, and they absolutely deserve all the praise they’ve been getting for their performances.
  • im cackling at how before, Danny expressed beef with Jeremy Jordan and now he's saying "Alastor interrupted Jeremy Jordan; he's my Mimsy"
  • @Charlie-iq1gx
,,I wish Alex Brightman had more songs" God, you're gonna like helluva boss
  • @the_UF365
The worst part about the "More Than Anything (Reprise) is that we were robbed of an amazing love ballad between Charlie and Vaggie in the same vain of Garnet's "Isn't it Love?" or "Oh Millie" from Helluva Boss. Instead we got More Than Anything's wimpy stepchild.

My Favorite part of hell's greatest dad video is when Lucifer brought out the golden fiddle, as a reference to the song The Devil Went Down to Georgia
  • …helluva boss is gonna freaking mess you up— Edit; bro for yall that think I’m talking about the dark stuff I’m not. It’s the sex jokes lol
  • @cadr003
Its so sweet Danny is wearing his mom's necklace, who perished from Fire Nation invaders looking for the last waterbender of the Southern Water Tribe. Very Drippy 💧💎
  • @elmapepaj2959

My top three are as follows. 1st: Poison 2nd: More than Anything (I’ll explain) 3rd: Loser Baby More than anything in my mind has the best representation of vocal technicality from Jeremy Jordan specifically. His tone immediately draws you in and that switch from chest voice to head voice in “I’ll shelter and adore…” is just utter perfection. Vibrato is always on point while still containing that storytelling quality in his voice when performing. I’m also a sucker for emotional ballads, and this duet just absolutely made me melt. It’s genuinely a toss up between this and poison depending on the mood I’m in.

fun fact, Alex Brightman has a genetic abnormality which gives him the ability to open and close additional folds in his throat, which is what enables him to do the beetlejuice voice for hours at a time without damaging his voice, he did an interview about it I think
  • @crem-crem4070
Danny I think you kinda forgot that Val LITERALLY owns Angel’s soul, he doesn’t get to not return to the studio
  • @looneyluna6742
Addict does have a part where Anthony (Angel's true self) comes out. It's in the end credit scene of the video and is a lot more hopeful than poison.

vox's song does sound less good when he goes into talkshow mode but thematically him putting on a news show act is hype
