  • Zinnias were my โ€˜gatewayโ€™ plant into the world of gardening. When I was a child, a bag of Fritos came with a packet of zinnia seeds. I cleared a little spot along our back fence and planted the seeds. I was about seven and I was hooked. Almost sixty years later, I still love zinnias!

I just started watching your channel and Iโ€™m loving it! Only one suggestion- in my opinion your background music is too loud. Iโ€™m having a hard time concentrating on your voice. Thanks!
  • First time watching you and I was loving your enthusiasm for these fun flowers. I love them too.
  • Your fabulous video has made me fall in love with zinnias! I am at the end of my life, and I feel I am in the last hurrah of gardening. For some reason after years of ignoring gardening, I became obsessed with planting vegetables and flowers just when I became less able to move, bend over, and bend my knees! I have a raised bed- lots of containers and beautiful beds! Thank you for contributing to my joy! God bless you!
  • Zinnias have always been a favorite of mine. So, so easy to grow. Happy gardening!

What a great video! I am in Southern BC Canada and this is my first year of growing (12") Lilliput Zinnias from seed. Your instructions were clear and simple. I have made notes and will be able to refer to them once I transplant the Zinnias in our garden. Thank you so so much and I look forward to viewing more of your videos!

Hi Amanda! I accidentally clicked your video just now. I've been planting Zinnias since I was 15 y.o. in the Philippines and it brought joy within not only to myself but my family and people who passed by our house. They voiced out their appreciation which made me happy. I'm now 65 and and I've been here in USA for 10 years. I thought I wouldn't have the chance to plant them. When we moved to Utah this year, I tried to plant early in May but failed 3x due to unpredictable frost. Fortunately, I somehow succeeded and the flowers were beautiful! Thanks for your tips because I put shade on them, wet the petals and leaves, I fertilized every 2 weeks and I don't cut the flowers because I wanted to enjoy them longer. I learned a lot from you. I shared this video to my sisters and friends in the Philippines.๐Ÿต๏ธโค๏ธ๐Ÿ‘
