Damn, fifty years later. George's song still gets left out.
-
Imagine having the Beatles catalogue as your wingman
-
I love how bad James Corden’s jokes are even in a movie.
-
Best scene in the movie, they cut it. Ana's acting here, while he sings, is absolutely amazing. All those emotions growing, shown just trough her smile, her eyes, without saying anything. She was great. And also Himesh Patel: amazing performance.
-
Imagine being Ana De Armas’ character, you literally just met this person, then they “come up with” this really intense song they sing directly to you on national TV.
-
They deleted the best love song ever made, and the most beautiful woman in the world. Nice done.
-
Every time I watch this scene, I get teary-eyed. Not because the song is beautiful, but because this movie could've been so much better than it was.
-
Masterclass by Ana de Armas. That's how you play a scene to perfection without even saying a word.
-
This scene being cut is a big shame. I always thought Ellie just seemed a little over reactive. Now seeing this, you understand her better. It’s so well written
-
Ana De Armas is the most beautiful actress right now in my opinion.
-
I love how this movie helps me realize just how good The Beatles' music is.
-
how can they ever cut this scene out?! just "imagine" if someone can ever write "something" as beautiful in an instant...George is terribly missed
-
The actress’s facial expressions throughout the song are truly incredible . Wow
-
Ironically, I went to see the movie because of this scene.
-
A VERY underrated movie about the music business. So many of the support characters ring true form the obnoxious manager (Kate McKinnon) to the others trying to "improve" the lyrics. What made me tear up was finding John Lennon as an older man, still alive, all alone, never having achieved what his alternative universe self did. The hug Haimish gave him was from all of us. Well worth the time if you haven't seen it.

I wish this scene was kept in the movie. Not only is Anna's acting very convincing of being serenaded by one of the best songs ever written but it really explains Elle starting a relationship with Gavin later on the film. At this point, she feels like Jack just wrote this incredible love song for Roxanne right on the spot and she feels like she has no chance at him and they are in two different worlds. In reality, Jack did not write the song and was put on the spot and it was probably the first song to come to his head in a stressful situation.
-
Ana de Armas' little jolt of excitement after he's done playing breaks my heart as much as it frightens me to know that people out there can pretend so well
-
This was one of the best scenes in this movie, Ana De Armas looking impressed and smitten while Jack sang was very believable.
-
How could they ever delete such an amazing part? The facial expression of Ana de Armas along with Ellie's reaction is priceless and so worthy to be in the movie.
-
The way Ana changes her facial expression with the progression of the song falling for Himesh 's voice and the wonderful melody of the Beatles ...it's an amazing scene......
