"They said either engineer, doctor or a complete failure" As an Indian, this is the most relatable thing I've heard today.
  • 10:48 Calling people Auntie is a way of addressing older women in their culture. It's like saying ma'am, or miss

"They said either engineer, doctor or a complete failure" The most relatable sentence said in in India😭
  • as an Indian-this was THE most relatable thing i've seen this whole year.
  • The cooking part is so funny! My parents always took turns cooking. And they always taught me that if I at least know how to cook a simple breakfast, then I’d be set for life.

This is culturally correct, as odd as it may seem to western people. Her being set up with a stranger and insisting that he calls her mother Auntie is a normal thing in Indian communities
  • “Be a wife or i’mma take your life” 👹👹 I laughed so hard I fell of my bed- 🤣
  • Priya's mom : A traditional Indian girl talks less and listens more Me : a complete loud non-stop chatter box 😂😂😂

"A traditional Indian girl talks less and listens more!" As an Indian, some people may do this but it really matters what you want to do, not what you parents want you to do.
  • As an Indian, this is so true. Men are supposed to be the successful ones while the wife cooks and cleans. Even though it’s just a dhar Mann story, I still like the moral of it. Not all women are slaves.

My dad is what my mom refers to as the "househusband" he's the one who stays home, cooks, and takes care of the kids while my mom makes most of the money. She gets so tired of people judging her for that.
