Nostalgia is like drugs, it makes you feel great but afterwards you... you almost realize nothing will ever be the same as that feeling. You will never feel the happiness that you just felt. It’s a hard pill to swallow. You can try to relive the simpler times but you just keep getting older, it keeps getting harder. I’m addicted to this feeling and I’ve been trying so hard to relive it but with the stress of everything... you can’t. I’ve watched countless early 2000’s songs, it works for a little but then I just go back into extreme sadness. It gets worse every video I watch. We have to continue having making memories so when these songs die out and fade away, forgotten and lost in a sea of videos. We can surely say that we’ve had a good run. But hey, at least we laughed, smiled, and were care free as we heard these songs on the radio in the backseat of your parents car.
