Video Shows How Students Fled From Nashville Shooting

It’s bad enough when someone is suicidal, but I can’t bring myself to feel any sympathy or even pity when someone decides to hurt others in the process.

seeing the teacher running across the street and stopping in the middle of traffic to pick up her students literally broke my heart.

How can someone be so cruel to go after innocent students let alone young kids. Sending condolences to everyone affected by this terrible event.

FINALLY a person who receives concerning texts and actually alerts authorities! More people need to do this. It could save lives.

That's horrible.. Those poor innocent victims. Just because the shooter was unhappy with her own life, she didn't have to take it out on them.. Its unforgivable.

I feel so bad for the families that were lost that day and the fear the kids will never go away

The fact the cops didnt hold back is the definition of bravery, we need more cops like them

I feel bad for Shorty, who called the cops after the shooter texted her, what she did was great, but it’s really unfortunate to see how the news is covering it as if she was a close friend of the shooter when she made it really clear initially that they were not particularly close. Now she will forever be known as the shooters Best friend.

How awful that someone actually saw the warning signs and tried to report those text messages and nothing was done….

Shoutout to the girl the shooter texted that tried to alert authorities as fast as she could. And thank god for the brave officers. The fact people can still purchase firearms with mental issues is insane. I could only imagine being a student these days.. now having to do drills and prepare. The pain and anger that the parents must feel that nothing has been done to prevent these tragedies.. RIP 🙏🏼 🕊️

The teacher picking up the little girl just made me cry she’s putting her life in front of those kids whp still have an entire childhood to live

It makes me really sad that her friend was shuffled around to 3 different departments when trying to warn people that something was wrong! Do we not have a communication systems between suicide hotlines, sheriffs, and the police??? It makes no sense!

I can't even imagine what would bring someone to do something like this. It breaks my heart.

These cops have my full respect for doing their job and not waiting an hour.

Those 6 people will never be able to experience life anymore. Those 3 little babies will never go home and see their family again, and neither will the teachers. It’s crazy and bothers me how much more care is put into using the shooters correct pronouns more than the loss of those 3 innocent children and teachers. This is disgusting, my heart goes out to all the families who lost their loved ones, and I am praying for those children and teachers who have been scarred by this incident. Our schools should be more protected, and the fact that she called multiple departments when the shooter showed red flags and suspicious messages. May the kids and teachers who were killed rest in peace. 🙏

I hope that girl who was friends with this person is okay. I can't imagine that feeling seeing those kinds of messages and then going through the experience of someone you cared about attempting to kill children!

I wish America resolves its internal issues before it regulates other countries. The news gave me goosebumps, Im sorry that the children had to experience this traumatic event. Sending our prayers to the victims and their families.
