An SNL writer posted on Twitter last night that James worked with them on this skit by rewriting his lines, telling the writers that 'everyone in Scotland will understand me, but no one in the US will'. Good work, James. 😂

I’m a Scottish air traffic controller working at the London centre, and i swear to god that this is representative of pretty much every time I have to control a United or Delta flight.

I love how the first part was James "Americanizing" his accent to be more understandable by a non-Scot, but the moment Kenan brags about having a feel for Scottish, James goes full highlander.

As an American who's never been to Scotland, I'm very proud of how much of this I understand. Outlander trained me well.

This is too funny. I once was on a train to Scotland and this nice man tried to teach me a card game. i still have no idea what he said.
