How smart of her to take pictures. She's never came out of the house, never talked to anyone, and still took pictures to back up her story
  • Seeing her with acrylic nails teared me up. The simple things of freedom she now gets to enjoy.

she said "I've never talked to anybody out there" to the deputy. the fact that she said "out there" just shows she never ever went outside. absolutely heartbreaking

I can imagine the deputy first thought she was mentally ill because of how strange she comes off- which is obviously due to the abuse and neglect she suffered. She is incredibly brave, she knew she had to do something to help her siblings, she was scared and in an unknown territory but she trusted the police. Honestly, an amazing young woman.

The fact she learned the word “abuse” before even learning what medication and injuries are speak volumes.
  • @kiiiirbzzz
When she asks “whats medication” and “whats injuries” my heart shattered into a million pieces. Shes so brave.
  • @SUK1N0TH3R3
The fact she apologized for talking is heartbreaking and this is happening in our world wow
  • @brianngoma519
'What's injuries?' I burst into tears. So many things we take for granted. Glad she is now safe.
  • She is so polite, intelligent and strong for someone who has been broken down her entire life. She is a Warrior.

It’s crazy to me that if she wouldn’t have had such solid proof and story they may not have taken her seriously
  • @zoeybrum8373
she is the bravest human ever. the fact she was able to get her story and point across to the cop even though she was terrified and had limited vocab than the rest of us… is amazing. she’s an amazing sister.

When he asks her if she's hurt and she says "no not right now..." Tells you exactly how often all of those poor kids were abused physically
  • @collette3741
    "what's medication"?
    "What are injuries"?
Yeah no this is unforgivable period.
  • @JR_Cargile
The way she says “mother” is terrifying…. Those poor kids were robots

This message is to the police, please when you see a child/teenager or just anyone running away from home don't just send them back, there's a reason they ran. So please dont send them back, they'll be in even more danger.
  • I grew up with the same level of abuse. Naturally one day I fought back. They called the cops on me, and the cops picked their side, and had me charged as an unruly child. At 13 years old getting arrested, hand cuffed, probation, anger management classes, and fees. Will easily take your childhood away and prove to you that you are a criminal. When I got older I realized I wasn't a criminal, any creature will eventually fight back. My mom is now a school teacher. It's scary. If I was a girl the cops might have helped me.

This is wild you look at her mannerisms and the way she talks this is literally a person who has just walked out of a cave into the real world for the first time in her entire life.
  • The fact that it could've been another cop that night who wasn't patient or didn't care to hear her story. Thank you Officer
  • @eee4029
0:42 "I'm sorry if I talk too much." BRO MY HEARTTTT
  • @VegitoAttacks
She actually speaks really well considering the abuse.
