WHAT IS HAPPENING IN POKEMON?! April Pokemon News Update!

Well, until official news is put out there, I got No Man's Sky to keep my gaming senses going.

I'm just gonna chill with the anime and use Pokemon Sleep to fix my sleeping habits. Why deal with hackers when I could pick back up Ring Fit and my promise to myself. I had forgotten the Switch controllers are capable of so much. Trip alarm, heartbeat reading, home button lights up with the alarm. Wonder if there's a list.

Honestly, IM wondering what is even gonna get released going forward. I thought MAYBE since we got gens 1-2 rereleased on 3DS that hopefully this year we’d get RSE for Switch. But idk, the only thing relevant coming out is Z-A

I will say, it’s very strange to have another off year like 2015 where we have to wait another year until the next big Pokémon game releasing in the next year but that gives me some time to replay some older Pokémon games without needing to worry about missing out on stuff like events in Scarlet/Violet. There are other first and second party games to come out on the Nintendo Switch this year for sure what with Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door remake and the Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon HD remaster just to name the two big ones. So the Nintendo Switch still has a future ahead of it with Pokémon Legends Z-A being in 2025, but after that we just don’t know what will happen next in terms of the next Pokémon game and also what that means for the Nintendo Switch’s lifespan as lasting for 7+ years is impressive for sure.

Pokémon news is so slow and the hacking makes it feel even less worth it to play the games to stay connected to the franchise I’ve loved for years and years

Definitely in a low interest period for me personally. I don’t necessarily see this as a bad thing as it’s nice to have a break from a franchise for some time, but at the same time there is little to nothing to look forward to in the future with regards to Pokémon. I personally just want a new Mystery Dungeon game.

I've pretty much just written off Pokemon for the year. Pretty telling how far we've fallen since last dead year we had in ORAS felt 20x more active.

Ben is very hopeful there is no gameplay of Pokémon ZA because the pokemon company didn't even make the game at all. They must have come up with the game as an idea in less than 2 weeks. Then, spend 24 to 48 hours to make a cheap trailer. Beyond that, they dont have a storyline they dont have a list of new pokemon to give Mega Evolutions. Nothing. And there will be Nothing Until Next Year in 2025.

One thing I wish Game Freak would do is port Pokemon Colosseum and Gale of Darkness XD to the Nintendo Switch.
