For context the game is played, as we know, from the perspective of a toddler, and the story is one of a mother who falls into depression and the "monster" you are running from throughout the game is your mother, who fell into drinking and it's likely that it's some sort of child abuse when she catches you, and the father is just trying to help you. The playhouse is kind of like the kids safe place from the mother.

A few things in case you play the prologue; -You'll trip if you sprint too much -Crawling is faster than walking, and slightly slower than sprinting -There's a museum that explains a bunch of stuff about the story of the game -Take your time, you might end up missing a ton of stuff Im so happy you finally played this game! Great video! ^^ 💡

This game legit breaks my heart. so many poor children actually go through this. my moms dad was and is like that he's an alcoholic who pretty much neglected his 2 daughters while her mom mainly hug out with them and cared for them

Just figured I should say it, since no one else pointed it out: The "constant slipping/falling" is your stamina meter emptying. If you don't want to fall as much, give the kid some time to rest before running again.

"What the- I'm in the womb!!!!" "Oh! I'm drinking..." I'm already laughing my ass off lol. Also this game is just absolutely beautiful. The way the screen shakes when you feel distressed, the warped versions of childhood joys. The empty bottles everywhere. I remember crying at the end when the kid found his way out of that dark house into the pleasant light of his father's smile.

Also, for people that may play this: The baby will fall over if you are walking while standing up for too long. It’s basically got an invisible stamina bar as a drawback
