An interview panel recently asked me "what are your pet peeves"? Thought it was so left field and outdated.
  • @meregreg
I soaked up all your videos and got the job!! Thank you so much!

I just stumbled on your videos, as I couldn’t relate to the shouting man, or a woman from the UK. You’re so relatable to me and deliver information I need for a big interview on Monday. I’ll now be looking at additional videos. Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for your videos. I was able to use these videos to dust off my skills and land a job after months of searching. Salary negotiation helped me not get low balled. You are truly amazing.

4:46 "I have a lot of ideas and opinions, so when asked for group input in meetings I have the urge to want to jump right in with what I’ve got. I learned a while back that 1. Some folks take a little longer to process a question, 2. People can be quite put-off by someone who always pipes up first up with ideas, and 3. Not every opinion needs to be heard. I’ve learned to give others space to give their input first, before I give my own every time."

OMG did I need to hear that, interview or not. I'll be interviewing soon, and not only is this a great answer, it's an EXCELLENT reminder for me personally about something I already struggle with. Thank you for quantifying it the way you have. I've worked in places where that didn't happen and others where it did, but thinking about it the way you've put it here gives me the "structure" I need to act right and not become perceived as a know-it-all. Certain people can seriously hurt you if they have a grudge against you.
  • Thank you so much Cass I am prepping for an interview this week and this was so helpful 🙏🏾
  • Thank you so much for your advice! Working on the interview questions right now.
  • Thank you, thank you for not asking yourself a question and then answering it (like the others), i loved how you walked through the questions with explanations and you started the video right to the topic and not 2 minutes of how we can promote you. I'm now a loyal follower.
  • @bayou__
😊 Totally Agree. This is cheats sheets. Thanks u Mrs Casandra
  • I feel like this is very dependent on the recruitment process. Having interviewed within the same company for years with the managers in charge of various departments (and interviewing candidates myself), I can tell you they don't know what answers to expect. HR might give a list of questions but your overall attitude and demeanour is relevant
  • all of my previous jobs were a good distance from my house and i ended up being let go for my unstable attendance so i applied to jobs closer to home and let them know it's a short walk away
  • @__R___
they ask similar questions so you get confused you don't wanna be repetitive!

I have a job for merchandising. So for weakness is public speaking in front of 100s of people good.?
  • @sarahtruax9144
What if you honestly cannot think of a situation to answer a question? For example, I have never had to deal with a conflict with a coworker. There have been times when personalities differ but it never got to a point where I'd call it a conflict.
  • I cant think of anything for a weakness that the company doesnt need. It needs every skill.
