Love this alternate arrangement. 🎉🎉🎉. Sounds a bit like ' I Believe In You' thus I think Neil went with the solo arrangement on 'After The Goldrush'.

I can remember the inner sleeve blurb and photos in the gatefold sleeve of After the Goldrush. there was a photo of a hand-written track list of songs, some of which made the album. This batch are those songs listed. I had always wondered about that list and first aborted attempts at recording After the Goldrush. Thanks Neil, you've answered my teen fanatic for your music. Still moves me in the same familiar way. Back when vinyl ruled the earth
