Cheating is so rampant most VGC don’t even know how easy training is. I onetime had a VGC player tell me how difficult breeding for perfect IVs are, completely unaware bottlecaps exist.
  • @Pandacalifornia
That last point about the trainer ID not being good evidence just leaves me so dumbfounded. Resetting for a trainer ID is statistically less likely than some of the rarest shiny Pokémon, longer to reset for, and I have never met anyone that actually cared about that. It’s literally just a number on the summary screen, there is not really any interesting about it, and you wouldn’t even want to have your own ID from a different profile because you would just gain experience slower. There is entirely no point for anyone to try for that, let alone someone who needs to train for competition. And it’s not just trainer ID too, because it’s also connected to the OT, meaning if it happened randomly, it would also mean the random person happened to have the same name, and to end up on the save means that the person with the same name and trainer ID has to find the other person and trade with them. Not to mention it’s also tied to a secret ID that can’t even be seen by the player. Like you can’t even try to assume good faith if you wanted to. There is no reasonable doubt of hacking that can possibly exist in this situation, yet they act like using this as evidence is entirely unreliable because it’s theoretically possible.

Sometimes I wonder what the thought process of some of these hacker defenders is. Like if you are searching for a murderer and find out the suspect has a conveniently fitting knife, a motif and no alibi then of course that is no "hard evidence" but you probably will go to court because you wont find a damn video of the murderer doing his actions and then taking a selfie at the scene so you can clearly see who the culprit is. Some people need to get a damn reality check
  • @Max-qw8eq
Crazy how scarlet and violet made it so easy to train competitive pokemons but people are still here hacking 😂😂
  • @Eevee007King
Better late than never i guess for baning these cheaters. It really should have been done ages ago
  • @jack7250
I'LL TAKE THIS VICTORY, AS SMALL AS IT IS
  • @BillsLab
So is the Pokémon 1 in 4.3 billion or did someone press the clone button in 1.43 nanoseconds hmm..🧐
  • @joshmiller8234
Best part was on Reddit the people saying it’s not fair to ban someone for what’s in their box since it could technically be legit. I then said it’s basically impossible to be legit, it’s clearly obvious genning. Then it flipped to but genning is okay and that’s the way the game should be played. I then told him the vgc scene is dead so clearly allowing cheating isn’t working. Then I got no reply. These idiots just want to be able to cheat against legit players to feel good about winning. When saying allow an extreme hack check and ban all cheaters so only legits remain that’s not okay because they should be allowed to gen. It’s insane the logic they have on why it’s okay.
  • @DarkKnightCuron
Glad to see these cheaters getting their due. Showing off stats and proof of their bad actions, I love to see it. Thank you for all the hard work. CHECK THEM ALL.
  • @EthanDaWackyBoi
I feel bad for the actual competitive players who put time into the game and what do they get? Cheaters who can’t even play the game properly and have to use illegal means in order to win. Even though there may not be many I feel horrible for all of you real players. We need to bring these players to justice.
  • @samuelrj4393
Could you do an interview with a lawyer or law professor? I'd be very interested in seeing how all of this sounds to them as well as if anything could be done legally.
  • @nirtheart
That feel when the argument pool against idiots grew larger :_verlisBoi:🍿🍿🍿
  • @LordShonji
Just to bring up that the player could have won the lottery 14 times with that "luck" of having just 2 identical ID'd Ogrepons lol
  • @anjuju2
"Judge Played God" Please be a Polytheism, we need more Judges like this in Pokemon VGC
  • @danielpower911
I like how the hack check also involves digging through the player’s PC boxes outside of the Battle Box that is used for competition. That being mainstream for the hack check is only a good thing as there’s bound to be cheating elsewhere in these people’s games to know if they’ve been cheating before.
  • @Digitoed
theScoreesports made a youtube short over someone selling genned pokemon and saying how VGC players buy and use them for competitive... Some of the comments there are freaking funny.
  • :0 ohh more pokemon drama... tell me more Verlisfy :P sits in her chair already setup to watch with sweet tea and snacks

Imagine being a little kid, watching the Pokemon anime and thinking about how they want to be the best trainer and have this bond with their Pokemon, then playing through the video game like this, carefully raising their Pokemon and going to a tournament, only to find it's overrun by Team Rocket employees who steal Pokemon and force them to use performance enhancing drugs. I always thought Pokemon was something wholesome, but the whole "Pokemon League" (competitive scene) "in real life" won't be able to live up to the brand ideal until it encourages the "best" trainers to live up to this (by enforcing the no hacking rule - and actually earning the title of "the best trainer") You could maybe call the current "top" players "Pokemon battlers", rather than trainers, since they don't actually train their Pokemon.
