There tones are meant to be together. Hearing both of the textures mix is an eargasm. Mariah’s mature vocals are just amazing, seeing how she can recreate her old vocals with yet more dynamics is one of the reasons she’s the best vocalist of all time.

At 3:47 Mariah singing the lyrics "Last night I had the strangest dream, It was actually quite symbolic And I whispered, said I love you, Very subtly" Gives me CHILLS. I love Mariah's lyrics so much and she always adds these extra lines to accentuate the song. My favourite part after the new bridge and outro😭❤
