  • I used to live in a house a mile away from Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri but we were under the flight path of both the A10s and B2s. It was amazing. While playing Army Soldiers in the backyard, I would look up and see a B2 fly over me almost once a month.

As someone over 5'8 I feel incredibly safe
  • “The stealth bomber is supposed to be a big deal. It flies in undetected, bombs, then flies away. Heck, I’ve been doing that my whole life.” Bob Hope
  • The amount of time, training and preparation that these pilots put in is impressive.
  • My father was a KC-10 and KC-135 pilot in the 80s & early 90s; while he was not allowed to tell me if he ever refueled one of these, he had other stories (SR-71, etc). Despite my having first-hand access to someone with experience, these vids STILL intrigue me. That is a credit to you, folks. Good work.

Having been inside a B-2 cockpit, it is extremely cramped. My neck hurt just trying to stand up. It’s definitely beneficial to be short.

I asked my mom for a B2, she said no because we’ve got one at home… When we got home and i asked to see it, she laughed and pointed towards my still invisible stealth dad…
  • God bless y'all no matter what your going through keep your head up

A key reason for this cost is the provision of air-conditioned hangars large enough for the bomber's 172 ft (52 m) wingspan, which are needed to maintain the aircraft's stealth properties, particularly its "low-observable" stealth skins. Maintenance costs are about $3.4 million a month for each aircraft.

If it weren’t for infographics, I would have a dramatic amount less awareness of the situation that’s developing on the world stage.

I have to say, the B2 Stealth Bomber is one of the most fascinating aircraft the US has, by far, I love this, because if you ever get bored, you can always talk to someone who also likes the plane for hours, it's just so fascinating and awesome!
