Sister-"I have cancer" Brother- "I have too much going on right now" Wow.
  • @hannahg3475
The sister thinking that her cancer is like a burden is heartbreaking
  • That adrenaline from the confrontation probably saved him from that overdose
  • Watching them misunderstand her trying to take him to the hospital really was heartbreaking. It’s intense to see how even family NOT understanding addiction contributes to the pressure. I’m happy for them and their success
  • It's so annoying when couples call themselves the modern day Bonnie and Clyde. No you're not, you're the typical couple who gets into petty trouble, or act like you do.

This is the first time I've seen a couple go through this together, get clean and sober and stay together and still work their programs. I really wish the best for them, I bet they're great people to know and it makes me smile that they were able to stay with each other. That's a risky thing to sobriety, staying with your binge-buddy, but good for them!
  • Getting sober and then staying sober with no family, friends, or $ for treatment was the hardest thing I ever had to do and continue to do... I am madly jealous when watching how much love most of the addicts on this show have in their lives. Please never take it for granted.
  • This was heartbreaking to see the sister/best friend so upset. She has not only 1, but 2 people she loves who are killing themselves slowly 🥺

For those of you who are in the same situation, at around 13:00 they talk about cell phones and not being able to contact emergency services if they don't have a phone. Let me make this REALLY clear... EVEN IF you do NOT have an ACTIVE plan on your phone, and NO SERVICE on the phone, you are STILL ABLE TO CALL 911, and it will go through. The ONLY requirement to this is to have a cell phone, and it be able to be charged and turn on. YOU ARE STILL 100% ABLE TO CALL 911 even if your phone service is turned off.
  • Opiate withdrawal is unbearable and terrifying . People who never experienced it will never know .

Jeff is honestly the best interventionist I’ve ever seen. He always explain things best in detail

Man… when Brad’s sister told him about her cancer and his reaction was “I just have a lot going on” The hurt in her eyes speaks leaps and bounds … she trusted him as her best friend and brother . As someone who has lost multiple people to cancer, including my father being on his way out , this was heart breaking . I wish the best for them both . I’ll be praying for you .

Here in my country, and many places around the world, peoples drug addiction stories usually start off with “so one night at a party, my mate offered me some coke/mdma/weed etc for the first time. I liked it, so started trying other drugs and it escalated from there.” But it seems for most American drug addicts, their drug addiction story starts with “I had a car accident/ work accident/ home accident/ sports accident and so my doctor prescribed me _______. I loved it and was hooked but when my doctor wouldn’t give me more I turned to the streets.”

Got so mad he forgot he was high for a second lol
  • I feel so bad for their kids who will undoubtedly have life impairing issues because of the parents.
  • @jerryhamer
He had a reaction to his sister's cancer like she just said she had a cold sore.
  • @BigMoney23223
It always warms my heart when I see how much their appearance changes during these interventions, they both look amazing
  • @tango2217
When the interventionist said "they're 2.5 hrs late we have to locate them" I was like YALL BETTER NOT CALL ON THOSE PHONES YALL WANT GONE 😂
  • When he had no reaction to the sister having cancer it broke my heart. All she wanted was to know he cared and I'm sure he did. That just shows you how numb drugs make you. Theyre both such an attractive couple. Hope they stay clean.
