As a server owner myself I've had to deal with admins I trusted deeply betraying me and the server. Definitely a learning moment as its hard to truly know someone over the internet, especially in a text chat.
  • @danese1636
Be careful. People like this are extremely clever and great at social engineering. If he tries this again, he will have learned from his past mistakes and may very well do some serious damage. (Mistakes in his execution, not in his behavior lol)

I can't imagine being so bitter that I would give up months of my life to ruin something for someone else like that. All that for a video game server.
  • Imagine for a second that the true plot-twist of this story was that, from the very beginning, F is an actor, a member of MisterEpic's team, and this incident has always been a well-crafted and well-narrated action-packed story engineered in such a way to provide additional hype and affluence to his server, maybe because of a slow decay in ratings and daily active players. Now THAT would be a mind-blowing turn of event.

If anything, I admire the dedication that guy had even if it was to griefing and trying to take down a Minecraft server.
  • @aerobiesizer3968
Imagine if that guy had dedicated as much time to his career as he did to taking down a Minecraft server. He'd probably be a millionaire by now.

I swear, this is like a real life villain arc. Sometimes villains are written and audiences claim it's "too unrealistic" or "lacks motivation", but this example just goes to show, malicious people like this exist in our real world

from my experience, minecraft server players seriously have no life and are probably the most scummy people on earth. ive seen so many servers fall apart because some guy was jealous of ones success and its actually insane to see the lengths a person will go to tear it apart.

If i was the server owner and getting a coord leak like this i would just instantly close the server for "maintenance" upon seeing the leak go live. Go to every bases copy-paste to a different safe place, remove the base from the original location and just put a sign for the player's base to contact the staff team. Then wait for them to tell us where to move the base. You did something very very something similar which put a smile on my face :)

This is utterly devastating to find out about that one of the oldest mods that we originally loved turned into such a piece of crap. It’s genuinely a crazy villain arc that I never expected to occur. Some of the events on this video like some of the grief attacks were directly done to my guild and made us take great losses, mostly with the significance and accomplishments we had made. Great video on the subject
  • @AgentIllusion73
This is perhaps the most intense Among Us video I will ever watch. Brilliant work dealing with The Impostor!
  • @RedPlayer_1
When you get hacked but its fine because thats just free content :)

As a moderator, i had to deal with some scummy players. One of them, back in ~2012 was griefing. /vanish was not a command, or well i didn't have access to it however i had access to disguise. There was this player griefing left and right but he was sneaky enough to avoid me just enough so i was not able to have clear evidence that he was the one doing all the griefing. So i disguised as a different player and just walked up to him and followed him around. After a few minutes he started to grief right infront of me. Then seconds later he wrote in chat that MY player disguise was griefing. I promptly banned him right on the spot with the ban message "I am Nyan_Cat". Good time.

12:07 this was already so crazy and then he hit us with his manifesto 😭
  • @codeguy11
As a server owner with 2-3 concurrent players online, I was experiencing a similar story. So, there's a server owner with 30 concurrent players in-game and around 6000 members on their discord, doing everything they could to damage my server, just because "he wants all the servers in his country shut-down", so he could be a superior. On top of servers being Pay-To-Win nowadays, now we have server owners harming other servers, insane to think about.
  • F's masterplan to end OG-Network didn't work out but his plan to make me and many other people subscribe to TheMisterEpic was a total success!
  • @vulu129
Imagine being a 15yr old that's so butthurt by a single rule "no hacks(ed) clients" and getting justly punished for it, that you make up a whole persona and buy alt accounts for revenge against this percieved injustice.
  • @kyleryork6469
It’s very cool how you turned a real event into such an interesting story! F used to being a mod, then becomes the villain with the ultimate goal of destroying the server. I love it!
