Remember, insider trading is illegal. Unless you’re one of the elite, then it’s totally cool

"Where 51% think 'sure' and 49% are so angry they black out" is a great line.
  • @aikam007
Insider trading is illegal for everyone except apparently the people in congress.

It should be banned.. it's the same as insider trading

The important part is family members. We know their families will buy the stock. Pelosi is for it due to her husband doing it

In the ancient Roman Republic, senators weren't allowed to engage in banking, public contracts and foreign commerce.

This should be a no-brainer. Want to go into stocks: become a broker. Want to represent your constituents for their betterment: become a politician. Pay them fairly, hold them accountable to financial crime like the rest of us.

Lol, Nacy is the biggest insider trader there is. She already made her millions. Now she wants to tear the system down to look like the good guy. Classic politician.

The ban doesn’t work if their families also own large companies and holdings. In fact, ban their entire families/friends/connections from having such assets. A public servant must never be able to amass such disgusting amounts of wealth whether it be through themselves or their connections.

It’s completely unethical but it will never be outlawed. They will never shoot themselves in the foot like that.

Our forefathers dropped the ball, representatives should’ve never been allowed to do this. ever. Never. It explains why this once great country has turned into a corporate nightmare of collapsing bridges and rampant homelessness for most and untold riches for a few. I bet Ms Pelosi and her ilk retire once this law, if it gets passed, passes. I say we go another step further if you work in public office everything you do financially is a matter of public record. We can delay timestamps and locations but I should be able to look up where you got coffee this morning for the entire course of your service. Every dollar they make every penny they spend should be a matter of public record.

"Shady" is an understatement my friend 😂
I always think of this aspect of what people call "first world countries", their elected officials simply make so much money in office by doing this/lobbying/facilitating deals with other countries they out perform the market by a light year 😂

Started following the Congress stock picks last year and even with the downturn I’m still up 18% rn

    WOW!!!!!
You’re absolutely precise and I will never ever overlook your posts or videos you are a ray of sunlight and information!

Finally! Something we can all agree upon...in principle. How long will we fight about the specifics of a bill to stop this?
  • @IFAMILYIH
They are all rich as hell already and they are making themselves much more richer. They only care about their own money
  • @jimk8520
Good luck - we’ve never been able to ban greed. It just finds another way.

I have been trading for about 6 months now and just about every trade slaps me in my face. Nearly impossible for me to catch more than a few points . I try to do top down analysis and MTF analysis, but it doesn't work for me . I say to myself, clearly I'm in the 90% that lose money, so I open a demo account, do my analysis, then take the opposite of what I would normally take(I know, it sounds stupid but I was desperate) and get the same result. I'm starting to feel hopeless, any advice for a struggling trader?
