Mankind's greatest achievement "killing our home"

You hit one of those containers at night in a small boat, Good luck 🤞
-
Did the shipping industry paid for this video?. Is just too nice for the mess they create at sea.
-
Its a mistake to count on products from other countries if they can be produced here.

The average annual loss is about 2000 shipping containers. 2022 was a good year with only 661 containers lost. Considering 7 trillion dollars in product is transported each year, the losses are minuscule. If you do a cost benefit analysis sometimes it's easier to live with the losses as the price tag to prevent them exceeds the losses. The cost of doing business. "Of the estimated 250 million containers shipped annually, the 661 containers lost represent a mere 0.00026%.". (WSC Container Lost at Sea 2023 Report).

You could do a whole video on how much it costs for food barges on the Mississippi or Down in Brazil has hit the world too.

I live in Long Beach and I remember seeing that ship off the coast

I didn't know 1 Billion dollars has 12 zeros like the Trillion😅😂

Prophecy. The seas will become so bad that shipping will not be possible.

What a terrible way to die. Being trapped in a container while being trafficked to another country.

Something tells me that waves 🌊 on our oceans will increase in power and size in the coming years. Is the shipping industry listening also?

Was this a short video by the shipping companies? Ending with a solid statement about how quickly and completely nature bounces back after a disaster like this....bullshit! And what about the thousands/millions of critters that die because of the accident and aftermath of reduced populations, migratory birds, long term poisonings etc....to name just a few we know about - which still laves the impacts we don't bother top or can't figure out how to measure. That kind of "oh well" talk just allows the companies to carry on with business as usual which is part of the human centric economic structure of capitalism's insane path to our own destruction.

It’s amazing in this day and age, with all the knowledge gained over 2,000 years- ships still sink
