Senate president Sue Lines repeatedly called for points of order as Liberal senator Michaelia Cash tried to force Penny Wong to say whether Labor senator Fatima Payman had been reprimanded for her comments the day before about Palestine, and her use of the phrase 'from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free'. Both sides of the house had earlier backed a motion condemning the chant, urging all senators to 'engage in debate and commentary respectfully'
