SUPER MARIO MOVIE 2 - What Can We Expect? (Sequel)

I would love to see a Luigi’s Mansion Movie honestly

I think it would be awesome to have a Super Mario Bros. Movie 2. I hope it comes out in theaters in the year 2025.

I feel like a good main villain could be Lord Fawful from Mario and Luigi: Bowser’s inside story. Bowser could even team up with the bros to stop him and his second-in-command, Midbus.

I just want Wario and Waluigi for the sequel. That’s literally it. Even as a brief cameo. I would die a happy man.

Daisy, Wario, Waluigi, and Rosalina could easily fit into one storyline together. Luigi gets separated from his brother and winds up in Sarasaland, where he meets Princess Daisy and instantly falls in love. Daisy, similar to Princess Peach, helps Luigi hone his platforming skills. Just then, an invader from outer space seizes control of Sarasaland, Tatanga and his alien army attempt to kidnap Princess Daisy and make her his queen! Luigi helps Daisy break out, which strengthens their bond. Daisy gives Luigi a big hug out of gratitude (before commenting she got caught up in the heat of the moment), before the two set out to find Mario. Meanwhile in the Mushroom Kingdom, Mario and Peach are searching for Luigi. (Perhaps they go back to New York and meet Yoshi as well) Suddenly, Rosalina appears and warns them of an alien invasion that has taken over a nearby kingdom. She brings them to the Comet Observatory (where they have a short reunion with Lumalee?), which is overlooking Sarasaland. Mario realizes his brother is there and rushes to find him. Then we learn that Wario is the mastermind behind Tatanga's invasion, as he too, wants to conquer the world. Waluigi is his partner-in-crime, but he's only in it for the hopes of gaining Daisy's affection...

I really hope the second movie is good!

I really hope Bowser Junior and the Kooplings can successfully make it to ‘Super Mario Bros 2.’ If that is a high possible outcome then I will be purely and continuously impress.😃😃😃

I want Luigi to have more screen time in the second act along side Mario.

4:02 In Nintendo lore apparently Luigi post to pair with peach and daisy post to be paired with Mario due to the game Super Mario Land where we see a heart between princess daisy and Mario. and this game takes place sometime after some of the early Mario games from what i remember. so we could either have Mario with peach and daisy with Luigi or have the opposite like in the older Mario games.

If they do come out with a second movie than I believe kamek will be the main villain for two reasons. 1 and most obvious, Yoshi was in the end of the Mario movie suggesting that he will be In the next one, 2 is needs a bit more explanation, I noticed that kamek seemed very bloodthirsty in the beginning when bowser melted the penguin’s home with the fire reflecting off his glasses. like in Yoshi’s island, he will probably be the main villain and maybe try and free bowser.

I’d like to see the koopalings in the next movie, they would have a very amazing appearance in the next movie that could have so much potential.

I feel like Bowser jr. won't make an appearance. Bowser jr's. mother hasn't been stated so it would be a problem for the writers to make him a mother, knowing that Bowser only loves Peach and that Bowser jr. is Bowser's biological son.

I think that The Super Mario Bros Movie 2 plot could be mix with Super Mario Galaxy Super Mario World and Super Mario Odyssey because of Lumalee (which this characters might tease Rosalina) Yoshi and Cappy and Tiara (because of Super Mario Odyssey Wedding Suit). And if Nintendo doesn't want any Mario villains to be the main villain in the sequel but maybe for the next movie then it could be Bowser again but with Wario Waluigi Bowser Jr and Koopalinas to built up his own Sinister Six. And I think Luigi should find Yoshi in the sequel because in the Super Mario World episode "Mama Luigi" Luigi find a Yoshi egg and it think he is his mama. And soon Mario might had some help from Yoshi and Cappy to protect the kingdom. And the post credit scene it could tease for The Super Mario Bros Movie 3 or a Luigi Mansion spinoff (Because Charile Day like to play Luigi as he want him to start on his own movie) or a Donkey Kong spinoff (since Nintendo was trying to confirm the movie because Seth Rogan loves playing Donkey Kong)

I personal think it would be cool for Wario and Waluigi to be a common annoyance for the Mario and Luigi, while the main villains being Bowser Jr and the koopalings (Larry, Morten, Wendy, Iggy, Roy, Lemmy, and Ludwig) trying the get Bowser from the Mushroom Kingdom

Theory: Wario and Waluigi were the kids who were bullying Luigi in the flash back, so they have a history with Mario. Then they hear about the success of Mario and Luigi and get jealous. This is their drive and beef against Mario and Luigi. But they find a way to save Bowser from his jar. That way Bowser can help Wario and Waluigi exact there revenge.

If we do see Yoshi in the next film I hope they answer the question: HOW ARE YOSHI’S BORN WITH SHOES!?

Luigi, Mario, Waluigi, Wario, Daisy, Peach, Yoshi, Kamek, Lakitu, Koopalings, Shy Guy & Bowser. Those characters would be super cool to see in a sequel, but with different voice actors! Peach has a high voice, they should've done something there. Mario is definitely more Italian, same with Luigi. Bowser- JACK BLACK IS THE BEST. Kamek was good imo, but Shy Guy and the Koopalings should have their own voice actors.

There were so many hints to the games in the movie it’s hard to tell who will show up. Wario and Waluigi were given no hints in the movie and bringing them into the second movie would build a interesting story. I personally don’t know THAT much about them and would love to see how a movie would introduce them
