Love how Simon shifts from Brain Blaze to Warographics by just throwing on a jacket.

I still cannot believe they were able to accomplish all this with only washing machines and shovels.

'prepared defensive lines' is a strong use of words, the UA couldn't build proper defensive lines because they were in range of russian artillery so the lines they abandoned were abandoned because they weren't really proper defensive lines

I have been watching Simon ever since his first channel, which was a Top5 or tens. I'm subbed to all of his channels, but warographics feel like the most important, relevant, and just suit Simon well. We need this type of videos ! Thank you mate!
  • @McClane4Ever.
It was a pretty soft incursion by the Russians. Almost no armored vehicles, guys with 72 hour packs. It seems to be more of a reconnaissance force operation.

The most likely explanation I have seen is moving south will enable them to bring artillery in range of Kharkiv. Seems to make sense to me.

I've learned this lesson in HOI4. Unless you're China or Russia, never forget your conscription laws.
  • Can we do these videos without the high pitched continuous beeping sound? I love this stuff, but with audio sensory issues this was really hard to listen to at times.

4:50 I believe it was initially a probing attack across the front to locate weak points, but as the Russian saw more success than expected they jumped at the chance and pushed further than initially planned.
