"but nate, all you do is spam Switch 2 videos you fraud"
-
Link activated Ganon’s trap card and got banished to the Shadow Realm.
-
Little fun fact for all of the geeks here. The Zora architecture seen in the screenshot is the same architecture that is inside the watertemple in totk.
-
The side scrolling parts were in Links Awakening
-
It's basically the same as the English title in Japanese. It's an artistic word "borrowed ones" Like the spirits of or the echoes of. She's borrowing the strength of these spirits.

Something no one is talking about is on the left side of the UI the rod is set to right on the d-pad. This implies there will be different items/abilities set to the others. It could be argued that pressing up brings up the quick select for the objects to spawn. That leaves two buttons we don't know the use of yet.

for the jail cell, its very similar to alttp where the royal court was infiltrated by ganondorf perhaps something similar is happening, also in the trailer we see impa fighting hylian soldiers in the dungeon below hyrule castle showing she is freeing zelda from the cell further showing similarity to alttp where link saves zelda and gets the boomerang

11:30 the reflections show small islands, later in the trailer it shows zelda collecting a water block, if you look at the surroundings then its no doubt inside of the void that swallowed link
-
Actually Zelda was in a Crystal cocoon toward the end of LTTP
-
Nobody puts Zelda in a jail…or a corner.
-
1:56 She was in a crystal in Skyward Sword too if i remember correctly 👌
-
Link to the past had the captives in the crystals as well
-
The sword that's more green and flat reminds me of the Goddess Sword in Skyward Sword.

Zelda was in jail at the beginning of A Link to the Past. Agahnim put her there, and he was being controlled by Ganon. It's likely a similar situation. Link destroyed Ganon way too easily, then some evil power took him away and put rifts into the world. That Ganon may have been a decoy to lure Link and take him out of the equation. Either way, some evil being (Ganon?) could have put a spell on the royal guards, and they could have arrested Zelda. In A Link to the Past, the royal guards also turned evil.
-
To close the rifts you throw a bunch of confetti with your rod like Mario in Origami King.
-
Zelda likely geys caught after she escapes the first scene. She sees bokoblins, she can't fight them, and in jail, she gets the partner that helps her escapez and that's how the tutorial begins

I think at the beginning you're only able to create 3 echoes, and you'll be able to create more as you progress. The fairy Tri has only 3 triangles in one screenshot, and as Zelda creates more echoes those triangles disappear.

In LOZ:LTTP Zelda (and the kidnapped maidens) were all encapsulated in crystals.

Something is different about this direct - usually all of the announced games with release dates go on the shop - but Zelda, DK, Metroid, and MP Jamb and others are not on the eshap. Zelda and Metroid are not in the news tab of the switch either. Dont' know what it means, but it is different to the norm.

Thanks for the video!
