I have ridden dirt, snow, street, BMX, and even an indoor BMX park on the 2022 Trek Farley 9.6 and it has been awesome. My 2022 is totally stock, well... other than the OURY grips. I’m still using the original cables and cable housing. The derailleur still operates quickly and smoothly. Just yesterday my Park Tool chain wear indicator shows I need to replace my chain.
As noted in the video the bike with the carbon fork is light, quick, and fast but you feel everything. Even riding off a curb you feel it in your hands and arms.
For the riding I do I use the Rock Shox Bluto. As long as I’m using a 3.8” tires the Bluto works great.
Also noted in the video the bike with the 4.5” tires regardless of tire psi has steering you have to get use to.
