I only go there 2-3 times a year, but each time I do it’s worth the price of admission. SO GOOD.
  • EXPENSIVE, agreed! Best tasting, agreed! Its a treat for us, couple times a year. Unlike McDonald's which can be once every 2-3 weeks. But Mickey D's is so pricey now, i am buying ingredients to make things i like at home. Too poor for fast food prices PLUS ALL THE TIPPING!!!!!😢

You bit into it like you were afraid wtf!! 😅😂

Tbh they aren't even much more expensive than anywhere else at this point. The biggest difference is the $5 small fries but you get so many that it makes up for it.
  • Do y'all have Culver's in the UK? Their butter burgers are the best fast food burger in my experience. 5 guys is great when your paycheck comes in; great taste and huge portions.
  • For £26 I'm buying myself four prime rump steaks from the Supermarket.

Didn't know they had Five Guys in the UK...next time ask for the cajun seasoning on the fries, if they have it. I usually ask for extra cajun because it elevates the fires to the next level.
  • I eat so many peanuts each time I go that I've been banned at a couple of locations.

Agreed !!! No in and out can compare to a five guys burger people wait for in and out long car lines for the first price and that’s it I’ll pay MORE for a five guys burger any day
  • 10 years ago it used to be affordable. It's where we used to go when we were broke and starving. They hiked up the price when they got some name recognition.

The boiled peanuts are a food that they eat in the south of the USA. Virginia is the deep south. They do have good food. This is where greasy food came from, the good old south. If you head out more north it's healthier food. Especially down on the coastline.
  • @KATONKA...
If they had a drive thru they'd give everyone else a run for the money

This isnt actually considered fast food in the US market. Its called "fast-casual" and includes brands like Chipotle and Panera. And at 26 pounds you are absolutely being hit up in the UK. When taking into account currency conversion thats like 3 meals instead of 2. Makes me wonder if a big mac is similarly expensive or 5 guys is just trading on the name like Greggs opening a few stores in the US and charging 6 dollars for a sausage roll.

Five Guys is so good, unfortunately the prices have gone up a lot over time. I always tell friends it’s the only place that is consistently good regardless of where I’ve had it (all over the US, Ireland, UK). They work with local farmers and do not ship the products all around, and they know to not complicate things. Next time, highly highly recommend getting the Cajun fries. I haven’t had the regular fries in so long heh
