Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud schooled a lawyer today for attempting to disrupt proceedings during the Supreme Court's hearing on alleged irregularities in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). NEET is a nationwide examination for admission to medical courses. Advocate Mathews Nedumpara, representing one of the petitioners, interrupted while Narender Hooda, also a petitioner's representative, was addressing the bench.

    Lawyer sir was raising correct point, that matter shouldn't have come to court. The govt. Should have proactively resolved the issue .. but they didn't.
