I was in grade 4, 1981. We were the last primary pupils to have lessons at MBHS before Mutare Junior became grade 1 to 7
  • I was there 1973 - 77 I cannot remember enjoying 1 day at that school except for the day I left.

Mr Forrester took son out put him in Hillcrest, and he quit as teacher, Musa was transferred to Harare, not sacked can u imagine. Mr Moyana apparently took over as new deputy.
  • Stayed in Soffee house 2000 to 2001 we turned that place into an academic powerhouse, Dr J Machingambi (PhD)

The school is decrepit; a vast derelict institution where everything is falling to pieces & buildings are just a ramshackle...it is a shadow of its former glory😩!

After I left tables turned on Musa, The Shona teacher assaulted Mr Forrester's son for coming late he told he's father, Mr Forrester approached Mr Musa at office, a big arguement happened as Mr Forrester turned to walk away Musa punched him in the back of the head, Big mistake!! Everyone he ever cained a giant Mob went to office he fled. The day when that monster Cobra was being killed Mr Musa was at Foyer entrance Shit scared hiding behind Form 1's, while the other boys ku ponda nyoka to death. Mrs Burke Science teacher said burn it.
