That amazing medic is the reason we are getting this fabulous content right now.
  • Former Marine here, you are an inspiration, and that medic is a true protector.
  • I’m a disabled, veteran myself. Let me say thank you for your service, you and your families sacrifice!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👊
  • I'm an old woman in Australia. I love your story telling and I love your face. I was very touched by this story especially when you mentioned your wife and wish for children. It helped me to realise and imagine your situation and feelings . My heart was also touched by your team risking their lives to help each other. You're an amazing person.
  • Holy damn dude, you got struck by a grenade that was close enough to bounce off of your shoulder. Now I understand why I hear the seriousness in your voice, you know now what matters in life and what doesn't. Not only that, you now inspire millions of people and didn't let it take away your motivation to care about something bigger than yourself. You're a special guy, and if there is an eye in the sky it certainly recognises you.
  • When he got to the part about how he said he had wished him and his wife had started a family as he's laying there... It genuinely made me cry. So many young men never get to come home and fulfill that wish after an epiphany like that. Thank you, Mr. Ballen, thank you for everything. We're all glad you're here, Man. Keep fighting the good fight. And may God protect our brave men and women overseas.
  • I am so glad you were saved. The world would have lost an awesome human being and a phenomenal story teller.
  • @amberdale5782
Oh my goodness... So glad you survived and made it home to your wife. Thank you for being so brave.

This man went from being part of one of the most feared special forces teams in the world and now he is a Youtuber with 4 mill subs that is very inspiring
  • I'm not American, i'm British, but thanks for your service aswell, our countries have been good allies in many places including Afghanistan. So sad so many didn't get to come home it's such a blessing you did and got to have the family you wanted. Thanks for the great storytelling!👍🏻😊
  • Thank you so much for your service! My son was in the Marine Corps around the same time and we sent him all sorts of medical supplies anything we thought he could use, and he would load his pockets before his unit went on patrol in the nearby town. If someone was sick or hurt he would hand out whatever he thought they needed bandage Neosporin aspirin whatever. He just thought he was being kind, but apparently the townspeople thought he was actually a doctor! He had no idea of this until they brought him a man with a badly broken leg and he had to try and tell them through his Pakistani interpreter that he was not a doctor, but they tried to find him one! Once again thank you for your service and give your mom a hug because she 100% served with you!

  • @heidizysk2321
Amazing that you made it. Medics are angels. It must be a battle to live with that memory. Thank you, Mr. B for sharing this story and for all you do. Blessings for you and your family 🙏💞
  • I love how he talks about his own experience so casually, it’s like he doesn’t realize that him and the medic who saved him are true heroes.
  • @nickvenci8592
Just when I thought this dude was the coolest person it just keeps getting better! And total respect for being in the military!!
  • We're glad to have you Ballen. Always make time with your loved ones count
  • @BeautyJacks
Thank goodness you were able to survive that. That is a true blessing that you had a supportive team that was there to provide the assistance that you needed.
