Touring The Fort Worth Stockyards In Fort Worth, Texas

Published 2023-05-06
The Fort Worth Stockyards is a great place to get the feel of being in a Western town, enjoy great food, get a great Western souvenir, take in a rodeo at the Cowtown Coliseum, and much, much more!

This place is a must see, if in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

  • We LOVE Ft. Worth and the Stockyards etc. My brother and family lived not so far from there for several years so we visited there and enjoyed it so very much. Keep traveling and vlogging and sharing. You're a blessing.
  • It's a great video. I think it's reasonable for stores like that to not want strollers in their stores. There's tons of instances where you can't take a stroller. You let it bother you way too much. This is a very informative video. I thank you for that. Carry on.

I'm sorry your experience went that way. From what i saw on video he said it in a way that is acceptable. Now what was said between you two i can't really comment since I didn't hear it. Not how i would have done it but it was acceptable. They have their reasons for not allowing them whether we like it or not. And to be fair the digital sign outside was a clear sign that you weren't going to make it very far with the stroller 😂 If we dont agree then just don't enter. I'm sorry this encounter happened this way. It was just the wrong day. I wish they had some sort of lightweight, portable, and collapsible stroller that can be worn like a backpack in situations like this. Im not a parent but i can imagine how much stress on the human body it can have to carry a child around all day. But as parents you do it because you want your children to experience the world❤ Anyways thanks for this great video 👍

At the last part of the video there is a parade. Did you remember what month exactly the parade in Forth Worth Stockyards?

Thanks for taking us on a tour of The Fort Worth Stockyards. So many businesses there and they all looked so busy. I don't see you backing down. lol Looks like you definitely had a memorable trip. Thanks for sharing the famous Fort Worth Cattle Drive. Great video!
  • That was a great video I would love to visit Fort Worth thanks for the ride

Love the video ❤and yes they are usually packed on the weekends and whenever the weather is good 😂 at the 2minute mark i remember seeing the "Basement Bar." I remember passing by that myself and taking a peek down there. I don't drink so i didn't step in but it was something that just always stuck with me.. kind of like how there are these little holes or you could even say portals that you can see from the public sidewalk that you can choose to step through.. tons of amazing and secret places to see all around the city..

Lol! Great video That guy was rude from the very beginning and there was no need for it. I’m glad you handled it the way you did.

Cool video, lots of neat things I didn’t know about. Would be cool if the wife was videoing the confrontation. I know if it would have went to blows your inner Walker Texas ranger would kick in!! That would be the coolest video ever!! Have a blessed day!

I live just five minutes from the Stockyards. And let me say I'm very sorry you had that bad experience with that one store. His behavior is inexcusable. Please know we in Fort Worth don't like that kind of behavior. And I totally agree with your explanations. As far as that store is concerned . If it was "thief deterrent" for that policy ? I don't see how a crowded or non crowded store will stop a thief with a stroller. Secondly what is "crowded" is subjective. How is the general public to determine if it is "crowded" if they have a stroller ? Third that store is purposely wanting to embarrass people. Because clearly they want NO strollers at ANY time. So they should post a sign saying that. Instead of making people guess and put them in a awkward situation. And him saying that is "Texas" makes no sense at all ? If that guy don't want you ? Then he don't want me as a Native Fort Worth citizen either. As a Native Fort Worthian. I support you your wife and your channel. We love you and hope you come back. More exciting things are planned for the Stockyards in the next coming years. And hopefully and new store will take over that bad one. God Bless.

Wow, if I go there, I will not set foot in the store that does not allow strollers. It not about having rules , it's about knowing how to ask politely and not be a jerk.

Instead of dealing with their crap just pack up and spend your money elsewhere.
