100 players are dropped into different biomes with a unique specialty to encourage trade and diplomacy between civilizations. We’ve also added proximity chat to simulate realistic human interactions. In true medieval fashion, lawless vikings are scattered throughout the land, putting pressure on nations to cooperate. Each region tests how a society would develop with their own strengths and weaknesses. Will people form an empire or will the regions plunge into anarchy?

This is Simulating Kingdoms in Minecraft, a variation of 100 Players Simulate Civilization in Minecraft! Everything from the primitive caveman beginnings to allied kingdoms fighting to the death will be covered. This will truly test the theories of what if everyone was trapped in minecraft, with more nuanced interactions.

A lot of planning went into this video! Big thank you to Flare, Arby, Jade, Yamalay and everyone else who helped in the creation of the event and video. The style of this video is similar to Primer, Wilbur Soot in parts. A large influence on this series has come from content creators like @Primer and @Wilbur Soot .

Shoutout to these LEGENDS for letting me use their POVs! Go check them out!

Make sure to subscribe to keep updated <3 Also interesting fact: proximity chat actually made people cooperate more, since it introduced a more human element to the experiment. People were less willing to betray people after talking with them face to face (for the most part haha)

I love how all the nations work seriously and the desert nation is just doing a cult
  • @AdamBokovComics
"Back in Russia, vikings held a Thanksgiving dinner" is such a funny phrase out of context! It's like saying "Arabians were celebrating Hanukkah back in the China"
  • @skturbo107
Honestly, hdpow announcing his intention to assassinate the Mountain King was the most “Viking” thing the Vikings ever did.
  • @sharkyys1457
The mountain escape was beautiful ! The walls with lava, the second walls, people fighting to let his people escape thanks to a redstone system, I loved it !
  • I love how we call these “experiments” but they’re really just an excuse to play a kickass Minecraft game
  • @chaincat33
I love how, after the plains and desert alliance had the snow and viking army on the back foot, snow managed to speech check an alliance with the alliance and turned the whole world against mountain
  • “It’s called the. Clay patch. Technique. My guy.” Love the natural drama building moments in these lmao
  • @koshkamatew
what would happen if the civilizations had to develop underground only? in a skyblock? in an endless ocean? in the nether? i have so many questions but so few powers to answer
  • @WeebSsamm
"Let us all thank God for this food" "We don't believe in God!" "Let us all thank Science for this food" That broke me lmao
  • @zixorty
6:46 “How do you get back up?” “That’s the neat part, you don’t.”
  • I love how this is unsettlingly similar to actual history and how misunderstanding is the heart of many problems

This is amazing! I'd love to partake in such a grand event, but I'll settle for watching it. Great production value my guy. Really great work.
  • @Yoyozlitt20
Damn… and the fact that the mountain nation, the only one that wanted to stay out of war, was the one that unfortunately fell to ruin. Pretty accurate to how real history was ngl lol
  • @MuriloMielke
"A mandatory volunteering" ah yes, the perks of being part of a civilization.

1:31 Thought of a better one We chop the tree and work the field Many-a bountiful crop will yield On our luscious grassy plain We suffer little pain In our hands our weapons we wield Our enemy leaders’ fates are sealed We hope they’ll have a little brain But here is where we train Edit: as per a replier’s request, I’m making a full version. I only have one verse left to make, then I’ll make the tune. I’ll record myself singing it and link the video here when I’m done.
