Did Cel Ink and Paint Have Advantages Over Digital Ink and Paint?

Today’s Earth Day, so I decided to wear my green shirt to discuss something about animation: Is digital ink and paint undoubtedly better than cel ink and paint, or was there something that got lost in the transition from cel to digital ink?

Interesting discussion Dillon. I like the charm and organic feel of some of the old cartoons from the 70's and earlier but I think because animation is so labour intensive, the advantages of digital outweigh the charm of traditional. Plus you can mimic a lot of that old look nowadays and the options available digitally can't be ignored.

Because of the show duck dynasty i also was inspired to become a animator Because of the preschool tv show thomas the tank engine

I think tradigital animation is easier when comes to 2d but i draw in my notebooks and sketchbooks
