Tims R1150 GS Big valve head

This is a BMW R1150 GS with big valve heads and a Y-pipe of Bos Boxer performance. It has small diameter runnners from throttle to airbox but these are also cut to half the length. So if it would have the long runner to the airbox and the long runners from airbox to throttle, torque would be much higher ...but Tim likes it this way as it pulls through the revs very very quick.... Everything else on the bike is stock except that it has an RS end reduction on it so it runs 90 kmh @ 7500. in first gear. Next vid will be of high valve lift and DNA air filter and a better exhaust silencer. No high lift cams, no high compression pistons, no K&N air filter , this can be done with stock parts except bigger valves! BFS airflow-research is a small one person shop specialized in head flowing based in the Netherlands.

    36,5 mm   and  32,5  mm exhaust, could be made bigger but then valve seats  should be replaced , no budget for that

    not so poor man tuning, after a talk with this poeple they want 1080 euros for the job, plus shipping, plus montage , plus demontage,that s 1500 euros.

    Hahahaha.....You didn't see the smiley after : poor mans tuning!!!! This guy did not use any of the following parts used in tuning for these bikes for example: Bigger Carbon air duct 250,- ,Camshaft 300 TO 400,-???, High compression pistons from Pistal for example: 900,- without montage, K&N or Blue air filter 50,- , lighter cam followers ???, STRONGER VALVE SPRINGS FOR MORE REVS...PRICE?????, full race system for example SR Racing or Akropovic 1100,- without montage!!!!!!!!!, SORRY , ONLY THE SILENCER OF AKROPOVIC IS MAYBE 1000,- !!! ETC. ETC.!! EVERYTHING EXCEPT THE VALVES AND THE SECOND HAND LASER SILENCER AND THE RAPID BIKE IS STOCK ON THIS BIKE!! He did not even change the stock parts yet in this video for other stock parts which might be better. He has bought now second hand RT pistons with 11.3 compression instead of the stock 10.3 compression for only 100,- , modified them for the bigger valves and I skimmed the heads so now he has about 11.8 compression and he bought recently a second hand Laser complet system of which the silencer was ruined ...but he had the silncer already also second hand....AND NOW EVEN MORE HELL BROKE LOOSE!!! HAHAHAHA.... He also had a 6 speed gear box lying around as it should shift easier then the 5 speed....IT IS STILL LYING AROUND AS HE STATES: IN THE FIRST 3 GEARS THE ENGINE HITS THE REV LIMITER SO FAST HE CANNOT CHANGE TO THE NEXT GEAR SO FAST... NOW HE CAN SELL THAT SIX SPEED GEAR BOX AGAIN!!!!!!!
